RATIOED
Docs/01

Overview

Ratioed is the competitive layer on top of X. Every battle is an original post against a reply to it, scored on the engagement each one earns over 24 hours. You back the side you think the timeline will pick.

What Ratioed is

A battle pits two posts against each other: the ORIGINAL and a REPLY to it. Anyone can back either side with SOL. After 24h the growth in likes, reposts, quotes, replies and views on both posts decides the winner, and the backers of the winning side split the pot.

Bets are held by an on-chain Solana program, not by us. The final metrics and score are written on-chain with a hash of the full snapshot, so anyone can check a result.

X-first flow

There is no form to start a battle. Everything begins on X:

  1. Someone replies to a post and tags @ratioed in the reply.
  2. The bot picks up the mention, checks eligibility, opens a market and replies with the battle link.
  3. For the next 22h, anyone signed in with X and holding a linked wallet can back a side. Betting then locks.
  4. At 24h the final metrics are fetched, scored, and written on-chain, and claims open right away.
  5. Claims open. Winners split 96% of the pot in proportion to their shares; 1% goes to the person who tagged @ratioed and 3% buys and burns $RATIOED.

Ground rules

  • Only growth counts. Both posts are snapshotted when the battle starts; a head start earns nothing.
  • Big accounts don't win by default. Half the score is engagement per view, so reach alone isn't enough.
  • Authors can't bet on battles their own posts are in.
  • Suspicious spikes go to a human. Flagged battles are reviewed before payout; they are never auto-voided.
  • Non-custodial. You sign every bet and claim from your own wallet.
Beta
Ratioed is in beta. Limits are deliberately low (see Betting → limits) and parameters may change. A market keeps the curve and fee settings it was created with, so a change only affects new markets.
